What is the difference between a battery tray and a battery box?

A tray is the bottom structure that carries modules and mounts the pack to the vehicle frame; a box (enclosure) wraps the cells on all sides. Trays are lighter and easier to integrate, boxes give higher impact protection. We produce both, plus covers that seal either format.

Can you produce trays and covers from my drawing?

Yes. Most of our tray business is OEM: send a 2D drawing or STEP file (or even a physical sample) and we quote within 48 hours. Custom cross-sections, mounting holes, threads and positioning features are all machined in-house.

What sealing options are available for covers?

Extruded gasket grooves for silicone cords, machined sealing surfaces, and threaded fastening points for IP54–IP65 assemblies. We recommend an IP54 gasket seal for e-rickshaw packs exposed to monsoon conditions; the exact rating depends on your cover design and fastener layout.

What alloys and finishes do you use for trays?

6063-T6 and 6061-T6 are standard; 6005A is available for higher-strength structural trays. Finishes range from mill finish to clear or black anodizing (10–15 μm typical), which adds corrosion resistance for humid coastal markets.

What are sampling and mass-production lead times?

Sampling typically takes 7–15 days including new extrusion dies; mass production 25–35 days depending on quantity and machining content. Existing-die reorders ship faster.
